Congratulations to our annual NWTF Badlands Toms Chapter local scholarship recipient Thaydan Arnold. He was presented a $1000 college scholarship from us at his awards ceremony last night. On top of that, he also was the recipient of the $1000 North Dakota State Chapter scholarship. Thaydan will be attending Minot State this next fall and will be playing football. He wrote an essay about why conservation and hunting heritage are important to him and we know he will do great things in life! CongratsThaydan! NWTF-Dakotas

Huge thank you to everyone who came out last night to make our annual banquet a success. We would like to thank Rex Korslien, auctioneer R/K Auction Co and his kids for all of their help and also Cj Monsen for helping auctioneer! 🙌 Our live auction is always a success because of you!

We had some helpers from Badland's Bullseyes 4H Archery team. They helped us work our raffles and we did our annual 50/50 cash drawing for them. They earned $455 for their 4H club from the raffle, and one of our very generous sponsors, Brooks Ku**er( Horizon Hunting Safaris )donated an additional $490 to their club! We couldn't run our banquet without the help of these kids.

We also introduced our local scholarship recipient. Thayden Arnold is a senior at Watford City High School and will be attending Minot for college next fall and will be playing football. Thayden will receive our $1000 scholarship and also is the recipient of the North Dakota state scholarship of $1000. He will be in the running for the NWTF national scholarship of $10,000 as well.

NWTF Badlands Toms Chapter dropped off our annual thanksgiving turkey donation this year to Mckenzie County Food Pantry. This marks our 13TH YEAR donating turkeys. This year we owe a special thanks to Black Oilfield Services for generously donating to make this possible. 145 turkeys this year and 3 pickup trucks to get it there! Thanks Jack & Jill for ordering our turkeys in and helping us load them.
