Our annual Fall Festival is one of our favorite Shaker Pointe events, but with 140 residents in attendance, this was our biggest year yet!

Our Dining & Culinary staff provided a variety of sweet treats, including c***r doughnuts and make-your-own caramel apples, and our Activities Director Sheena set up a variety of crafts and games including pumpkin decorating and ax throwing (don't worry, they're made of foam)!

We couldn't have asked for better weather as our residents enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Patricelli's, music from Sounds of Sisterhood, and a range of delightful fall-inspired activities. Here's 'til next year!

Big news from our Shaker Pointe family!

Our own Director of Facilities, Dennis Stephens, is one proud dad this week — his daughter Lexi Stephens earned a four-chair turn on Season 30 of NBC's The Voice! Lexi wowed coaches Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, and Queen Latifah with her performance of "Die on This Hill" by Sienna Spiro, with Adam stating, "Honestly, Lexi, that was by far the best Blind Audition. I think you're gonna probably win The Voice."

Last night, Shaker Pointe staff, residents, and Dennis and Lexi's family packed our Founders Room for a watch party to cheer her on, and Lexi surprised everyone with a live performance of Adele's "All I Ask" before the show!

Lexi is a Boston Conservatory at Berklee grad, a former American Idol golden-ticket winner, and a Palm Harbor, FL native with roots in Pinellas County's arts community. We couldn't be prouder to watch her journey unfold — go Lexi!

Swipe through for photos from our watch party!
