AND THEN THERE WERE 16...

For the first time in 5+ years of doing The 29th State's bracket challenge, there were no shutouts in the round of 32! Everyone got at least one vote. Two ties were decided by coin toss, so New Virigina and Horton will move onto the round of 16. Deep River put up a really good fight against Floris, but in the end, the 52560 prevailed over the 52222. Two towns are returning to the round of 16 for the second consecutive year. Both Emerson and Lehigh made it in 2025, with Lehigh going all the way to the championship (where Pulaski pulled off a huge upset. Those Davis County folks are tough cookies!).

So, you have until 11:59 p.m. Central Time tonight to vote for one of these sixteen communities to advance them on for a chance to win a free 29th State history program. Only one vote per person or organization, please.

Thank you to everyone for the wonderful support today! Thank you to all the gracious landowners for allowing this event to happen! Without their support, this wouldn't be possible! Thank you to all the firefighters and volunteers that helped with the rides. We strive for a safe and fun ride for everyone. Hope this year did not disappoint for anyone. Hope to see you all next year. We will set the date next month for next year! Stay tuned!!
