🌹 2027 Float Rider Announcement 🌹

We’re excited to announce that Katherine Eboch, 2026-2027 Governor of Rotary District 6600 and a member of the Rotary Club of Anthony Wayne Area, Ohio, will be a 2027 Rotary Rose Parade Float Rider.

Katherine’s Rotary journey began as a founding member of her high school’s Interact Club and has grown into a lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and mentorship. A Paul Harris Fellow +8 and Bequest Society member, she has served as Club President twice and as a facilitator for the Rotary Leadership Institute.

Professionally, Katherine serves as Vice President of Information Technology at Soles4Souls, helping create opportunity through shoes and clothing around the world.

As Katherine shares, she is honored to represent Northwest Ohio on the Rose Parade Float, celebrating Rotary’s power to create lasting impact.

Anthony Wayne Area Rotary installed new Peace Poles at Monclova, Waterville and Whitehouse Primary Schools as part of an initiative promoting kindness, inclusion, and global awareness among students.
The project was made possible through a grant from Rotary District 6600.
A Rotary Peace Pole is a globally recognized symbol displaying the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in multiple languages. Peace poles serve as daily reminders of compassion, respect, and unity.
The peace poles will give students and staff a visible reminder of the importance of kindness, respect, and understanding others. Schools can also use them as part of classroom discussions and activities focused on character education, diversity, and community.
By installing a peace pole, AW schools make a visible commitment to creating a safe, welcoming environment where every child feels valued. It’s a small monument with a big message — one that reminds students each day that peace begins with them.
The peace poles will also create opportunities for future student engagement activities, including assemblies, peace-focused programs, and student-led initiatives.
