We are so excited to have a wonderful committee step up and bring our Waterville Days celebration back to our July 2026 Waterville Farm & Craft Market A big thank to Ylse Engler and Brenda Petersen for stepping up and volunteering, you are so appreciated!

We are looking for elementary age students to decorate your bikes, trikes, scooters or any non motorized ride on item and join us in the parade! Please reach out to Brenda Petersen or Ylse Engler if your kiddos are interested! Flyers will be going home next week with kids at the school!

We didn't grow up in Waterville, but we fell for it—hard. So we did what any self-respecting pizza-loving transplants would do: we opened a shop. Eddy's Pizza & Subs is our delicious excuse to meet the neighbors, feed the town, and sneak our way into your weekly cravings.

There’s nothing like watching our little town come together to create something truly special. From the many volunteers—especially Michel Ruud for coordinating, setting up lights, and decorating—to Knemeyers for opening up their outdoor space, the Wheatland Bank Elves for serving delicious hot chocolate, the Federated Guild for baking treats, The Prairie Girls for sharing beautiful music, Jill Thompson and her lovely bells, and of course Santa and our Douglas County Firefighters for escorting him in style—this is what community looks like.

Thank you to everyone who pitched in, showed up, and helped bring the holiday spirit to life. In a world that moves so fast, nights like this remind me just how lucky we are to call this small town home.

Here’s to a season filled with light, kindness, and coming together. ❤️

Kevin Shaw was our Chili Cook-off winner with his white bean, chicken chili! Congratulations Kevin! We raised $240 for our Waterville Food bank from our Chili Cook-off donations.🏆
