Waterville Valley Adaptive Sports has an amazing team at the Education Conference this year! We’re so grateful to have this year’s event on Cape Cod, cohosted by our friends at .

This incredible gathering brings together leaders, instructors, and advocates from across the country who are all working toward one goal: expanding access and opportunity in adaptive sports.

Our team had the chance to learn from industry experts, share best practices, and bring back new ideas to strengthen our programs—across both summer and winter seasons. From adaptive biking to snow sports, we’re ready to break barriers and build community.

A huge thank you to Move United for hosting such a meaningful and impactful event. We’re energized, inspired, and ready to put what we’ve learned into action!

Yesterday McKenna & Dean worked with Peter Russo helping him prepare for his certification for the TetraSki. Using the Tessier Snow'Kart to practice with. It was a day of leaning and fun. It's what we do at WVAS to make both students and their families enjoy the great outdoors year round.

We’re so proud of athlete, Carolyn, and pilot, McKenna competing at this year’s TetraSki Race at Cannon!

The TetraSki is the world’s only independent alpine ski for athletes with complex physical injury or illness. We’re so grateful that Waterville Valley Adaptive Sports is home to a TetraSki, empowering athletes to be independent on the mountain!

⛷️🏂 Three days, a lot of laps, and some pretty solid shredding.

Our Veterans Ski & Snowboard Weekend brought together a great group of Veterans and their families who showed up ready to ski, snowboard, push themselves, and have a good time doing it.

Big thanks to everyone who came out and made it what it was—fresh snow, high stoke, and a really good crew to spend time on the mountain with.

Our event was supported in part by a grant from Move United Sport and the VA Adaptive Sports Grant Program.

Already looking forward to the next one.

Fast runs, big cheers, and so many proud moments on the hill. 🏅

One powerful highlight came during Opening Ceremonies when our own Zoey Rose sang the National Anthem. 🇺🇸

So proud of these athletes and the joy, determination, and community they bring to the slopes every single day. ❤️⛷️

For all of you that might not know...Waterville Valley will once again be hosting the NH Special Olympics Winter Games March 2-4. I know it's a school/work night but it would be great to have whomever can make it to the Opening Ceremonies on Monday at 7:30pm in Town Square. We had a blast teaming up with the Waterville Valley Elementary School last week! 🚴‍♀️💡

Students got hands-on with our adaptive bikes and took on a real engineering challenge—designing custom 3D-printed flag holders to improve visibility and safety.

Big thanks to the students, staff, and Waterville Valley for supporting inclusive, creative learning! 🙌✨
