The Watertown Community Path is a proposed multi-use path that will provide a link between the 18-mile Charles River Reservation Path and the Minuteman Bikeway, which extends 11 miles from Cambridge to Bedford.

The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), Town and State officials, and community members celebrated the completion of Phase I of DCR’s Watertown Greenway project at the 9/28/11 ribbon cutting.

This one-mile segment along the former B&M rail line is the first phase of the DCR initiative to connect the region's primary multi-use trails. Phase 2 will complete the connection from the Charles River trail to the Minuteman Bikeway, the Alewife Greenway, the Mystic River Reservation, and (of course) the future completed Watertown Community Path!
