A huge thank you to the The Run Turkey Run 5k race committee for their generous support of the RMS National Junior Honor Society. Our members had a wonderful time cheering on the participants in the kids run and being part of such a positive community event. We truly appreciate the opportunity to be involved and look forward to future events together!

Big THANKS to these Riverside Middle School National Junior Honor Society members for helping with this year's kids' 1k race! Their smiling faces directed our littlest runners while keeping them safely on the path.

A HUGE Thank You from the Run Turkey Run 5K Race Directors!

What an incredible 13th Annual J and L Tire and Service Center presented Run Turkey Run 5K! This year, we welcomed over 1,000 runners, walkers, strollers, four-legged friends, and volunteers to join us for another unforgettable Thanksgiving morning.

We truly couldn’t put on an event of this size without the dedication of our wonderful volunteers. From months of planning to the early-morning race-day hustle, you showed up in every way. Your time, energy, and heart make this event possible, and we are so grateful for each of you. A special thank you to Jill Oswald for helping us keep up on emails!

A huge thank-you as well to our generous sponsors. Your support not only brings this race to life but also allows us to give back to organizations and individuals in need right here in our community. Your impact reaches far beyond race day.

Stay tuned for updates on how the funds raised this year will be used to support local causes. And don’t forget, you’ll get to help choose next year’s hoodie color and design, so make sure you’re following our page!

It's race day!
A few quick reminders to keep the start line smooth for everyone. Serious runners up front, joggers in the middle, walkers next, and strollers or leashed dogs should start behind the walkers. The 5K begins at 9:00 and the kids 1K kicks off at 10:00. Let’s have a great morning!
