We also pride ourselves on the fact that we have won many technical awards for our robot designs and functions throughout the years such as:
5 Industrial Design
Awards sponsored by General Motors
3 Quality Awards sponsored by Motorola
1 Creativity Award sponsored by Xerox
4 Delphi "Driving Tomorrow's Technology" Awards
6 Innovation in Control Awards sponsored by Rockwell Automation

We've also won the prestigious Engineering Inspiration Award at a District Event in 2017 which is an award that celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a teamโs school or organization and community. In addition, one of our mentors has been recognized with a Woodie Flowers award that celebrates effective communication in the art and science of technology and is awarded to mentors who lead, inspire and empower using excellent communication skills. Since 1998, more than 350 students have participated on Team 237. In addition to all our achievements on and off the competition field as mentioned above, our 2006 robot was selected to be published in FIRST Robotics: Aim High: Behind the Design. In 2019 & many other years, Team 237 was successful enough to make it to The World Championship Event to compete against the world's best for the title of Champions. These are just some of many examples showing how Team 237 has progressed throughout the years. Not only have we expanded in size and success, we have also expanded in knowledge!
