3 2 1 BEARS! We had an amazing time competing at NYWEA's spring conference in Saratoga. We placed second in the Process Event, last in Lab, 4th in maintenance, collection, and safety. We hit Zero (no penalties) on the maintenance event. No penalties is huge and we had our fastest competition time on thee maintenance event. The Water Bears placed 3rd overall earning our spot to go to WEFtec. The competition was intense and very tight meaning every Event could have been the difference between 3rd or 4th place. 3rd place for us is an enormous win for our team. I need to thank every volunteer who coordinated, judged, and organized the events. Thank you to all the other teams for their passion and support. Thank you NYWEA for putting together the conference. Most of all i need to thank my Water Bears for being so amazing! 💧🐻
