Friday afternoon should mean looking forward to the weekend.

For some children, it means wondering where their next meals will come from.

Thanks to a Women & Giving grant, Watertown Area PACH (People Against Child Hunger) was able to provide food for more than 450 weekend meal bags for local students.

Sometimes creating opportunity begins with meeting a child's most basic needs.

Together, Women & Giving is helping ensure children in our community can return to school on Monday ready to learn and ready to succeed.

Sometimes, recovery begins with something as simple as a ride.

Thanks to a WACF Women & Giving grant, Brothers & Sisters Behind Bars was able to purchase a vehicle that helps clients get to treatment appointments, recovery meetings, job interviews, and other essential services.

For many individuals rebuilding their lives after incarceration, reliable transportation can be one of the biggest barriers to moving forward. This grant helps remove that barrier, opening the door to recovery, stability, and hope.

The 2026 Women & Giving Campaign has begun!

For 23 years, women in our community have come together to create opportunities for women, children, and families throughout the Watertown area.

Last year alone, Women & Giving awarded $46,090 in grants to local nonprofits and $29,500 in scholarships to nontraditional female students pursuing their education.

When women give together, remarkable things happen.
