📣 Make a Difference in Your Community — Join Our Board!

The Hinckley Area Food Pantry is looking for passionate community members to help guide our mission of serving neighbors in need.

We currently have openings for:
🔹 Vice President – Help lead grant writing efforts, assist with procurement, and participate in board leadership and decision-making.
🔹 Members at Large – Represent your community (Big Rock, Maple Park, Shabbona, or Waterman), share local insights, and help shape the future of the pantry.

No previous board experience is required—just a desire to give back and make a positive impact in our communities.

As a board member, you’ll help ensure that local families continue to have access to food and support when they need it most.

Northern Illinois Food Bank is bringing their mobile market pantry to DeKalb Elk's Lodge #765 this Saturday from 10:00 - 11:30 or until supplies last. No residency or income requirements. First come, first served.
