A Parkinson’s diagnosis can feel like a heavy weight, but it is not the definition of you. 💙

In this conversation, on the This is Parkinson’s Podcast, with the wonderful Donna Parkhurst, ( Donna Parkhurst )we talk about the power of perspective, the importance of letting go of limiting labels, and why it’s okay to hold onto your own identity throughout this journey.

We’re navigating the “new normal” together, focusing on what brings us joy and the strength found in our community.

You are so much more than a diagnosis.

Let’s keep showing up for ourselves, every single day.

✨Share your words of encouragement for the PD community below.

This is Parkinson’s is dedicated to honest conversations and real stories from people living with Parkinson’s, caregivers and experts and this podcast shines a light on the realities of the disease while building a community of support, education and hope.

What an incredible way to end the week!

Lisa was featured on Good Morning America with Michael Strahan to tell her story and to share our mission.

Our goal is to foster a compassionate and supportive community where we can walk alongside each other through the ups and downs of living with Parkinson’s.

You can see these stories on our website, ThisIsParkinsons.org. You can share your story with us, watch the podcast and, if you feel moved to donate, we sure do appreciate that, too.

Huge thank you to Michael Strahan, his producing team, and everyone at GMA, from production staff to the makeup artists, what an incredible experience this has been, and it’s only the beginning! 🩵
