We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of longtime Arrowman and Scouting volunteer Madonna Nelson.

Madonna dedicated over 20 years of her life to the Order of the Arrow and Scouting America, serving in numerous roles within her troop, the council, and the Sac-N-Fox Lodge. A Vigil Honor Member and OA Founder's Award recipient, Madonna was a cornerstone of the Lodge—the friendly voice on the other end of the phone when someone called to ask about the OA or simply needed someone to talk to.

Those of us who worked with Madonna knew her passion was for Scouting and helping others. Madonna was a friend to all and will be greatly missed.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Madonna's family and everyone who knew and had the opportunity to work with her.
