Looks like pack 81 will be at the windmill to display and sell their popcorn and Whitleys nuts!!!!! Please share and spread the word and come out in support of these kiddos and help them on their journey to camp!
70%of all product sales go to benefits scouts and scouting programming! As a bonus you get amazing delicious popcorn or nut!
(The cinnamon almonds are amazing as well as the chocolate peanut clusters(avail by pre order)
Also this is a great way to Christmas shop!

2019 WEBELOS-REE

OCTOBER 5th & OCTOBER 6th 2019

CAMP BABCOCK HOVEY

The Webelosree is a once yearly event held at Camp Babcock-Hovey for first year and Arrow of Light Webelos interested in a weekend of camping fun and Scouting Advancement Activities. This event is a great opportunity for Webelos scouts to complete multiple adventure pin requirements or electives in preparation for crossing over to scouts. Receive your pins at the closing ceremony for "instant" recognition!

Webelosree begins with check in at 8:00am Saturday and is a full day of program and activities ending around 5:30pm. Scouts will pitch their own tents and cook their own meals in true pack-in-pack-out style. The overnight campout is not required but is highly recommended.

Sunday is a continuation of program from 8:30am to 11:10am, ending with rocket launches at 11:20am, and an awards ceremony immediately following at 11:40pm. All units will be given time in their schedule to prepare meals, and those units camping overnight will be given time in their schedule to setup camp.

- Check in Saturday morning 8-9am, check out by noon Sunday

- Cost is $16 per Webelos and $12 per Parent/Guardian

- Please register by Octobr 1st

Good afternoon!

Pack 81 will be hosting a popcorn/fall product party and joining night on Aug 30th we will be at the oak island pavilion 5:30pm.
Please come join us us and sign up if you are not already a scouter or to place an order for your fall product!!!! We will have some of the products as early as sept 7 so if you order and pay that night you will be first to get your yummy treats!!!!

This year we have white cheader popcorn tins $15.00 and also the purple popping corn is $10.00 this year. We also are introducing WHITLEYS NUT products!!!

Good afternoon!
I would like to remind everyone that there is 3weeks until school starts back up!!!!! (😁)

We are now also in fall product season in cub scout land! For those that dont know what that means let me give you a bit of the run down.

Fall product (typically popcorn) is the way that the scout earns money to pay his or her own way, there for folling one of the 12 scout law points "thrifty"

This year we have opened up and also have whitleys nuts!!!! (And o my gosh they are wonderful)

Through product sales the scout will learn what it means to pay thier own way through thier adventures as well as very important people and sales skills!

Starting Sept 9th we are able to meet at the waterloo community center (rec. Center) on mondays 5:30-6:30
We are scheduled though Sept and Oct amd if this works we can extend it. I am still trying to find a spot to have a popcorn launch party! The popcorn launch is where we gibe oit valuable info on the fall products and fundrasieing opportunity. We will have break downs of what your scout would need to sell to be able to "pay their own way"(thrifty) to camp amd much more! This is also a great opportunity to sign up and start the scouting season. We are always welcoming new kids, familys and adult volunteers! You do not have to have a child in scouts so maybe your kids have moved on and you have a few hrs that you could help the next generation of scouts on the path to eagle!

It all starts with my.scouting.org amd taking the 1st course called youth protection. After that you can take as many or as few trainings as you like and fill out an application.

(Registion is prorated but the annual membership to BSA is i believe 40. I will check this for sure. That goes from Jan to Dec. )
