The first two days of Driving Disciples Bible Study and Golf Camp have been historic! Tuesday we learned about the history of golf, the genesis of the golf swing and Creation - including how Jesus was there even in the beginning. Monday we learned about what it means to be a disciple and how Driving Disciples is about "Golf Inspired by the Gospel".

We look forward to two more days of camp, concluding with a new family fellowship luncheon!

Each day we weave together life-application Bible Study, Golf & the Gospel. Prayers for a strong finish!

What a fabulous first day of camp!
On Monday, the campers learned what Driving Disciples are:
•What would you identify yourself as?
Disciples find their identity in Christ.
Here at Driving Disciples, we are “Golf Inspired by the Gospel.”
Just as we drive the golf ball off the tee box, we also, as followers of Jesus Christ, go forth to drive others to be disciples.
We are Driving Disciples on and off the golf course!

We loved turning Concord Presbyterian Church into a golf and Bible Study camp last summer, so we’re doing it again this summer! Registration is officially open for June 9th - 12th with just 20 spots available. Each camper will receive a camp shirt, Memory Verse Putting Aid, personalized Bible, camp curriculum workbook and nutritious snack.

Golf instruction will be led by former professional golfer and current Waterloo Country Club Director of Instruction Mitchell Gregson and break-out small group Bible Study will be led by Concord Presbyterian Senior Pastor Brian Sandifer.

Driving Disciples is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to encourage youth to become disciples of Christ through the game of golf.

Ten Commandments Day! We know we can’t fulfill the Law perfectly, that’s why we need Jesus!

We setup a putting course through the sanctuary with the Ten Commandment signs as our tee markers. On the church lawn, our driving range consisted of Ten Commandment target signs. The kids had a wonderful time!

DID YOU KNOW?! Jesus was present, even in the beginning? He's present throughout the ENTIRE Bible!
Tuesday at camp, we talked about the beginnings of creation and golf. On the driving range campers learned about the correct takeaway position using prayer hands during the golf swing and on the short-game area they practiced the chip-and-run technique.

HELLO WATERLOO! Wow! It was amazing to tee-off camp for the first time at a CHURCH facility (rather than a golf course), in our co-founder's hometown. Pray for a great week ahead for our campers!
