💜💚 Healing is possible. Your story isn't over. 💚💜

Some days feel heavier than others. But even on the hardest ones, please know this: recovery is possible, and no one has to walk the path alone. 🌅

As National Su***de Prevention Month comes to a close, we want you to remember that support doesn't end with September. If you or someone you love is struggling, help is just a call or text away.

📞 Call or text 988 and ask for Mobile Crisis — our team will come to you.

You don't have to have the right words. You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to reach out. 💙

At Elevate, we believe in rising, rebuilding, and recovering — and we believe in you. ✨

🎭 SAVE THE DATE! 🎭
Elevate Behavioral Health is excited to announce our first fundraising event — The Masks We Wear Masquerade Ball!
📅 Thursday, April 29, 2027
⏰ 5:30 PM
📍 Elks Club | Waterloo, Iowa

Come as you are or go all out! Wear the mask, skip the mask, dress up or simply show up. This evening is about connection, hope, mental health, recovery, and recognizing the masks we all wear while navigating life.

We are incredibly excited to welcome Jason Ray Welsh as our keynote speaker and entertainer. Jason will share his powerful journey through recovery—from the streets to the stage—and how that journey led him to become an award-winning singer-songwriter and recovery advocate. And, of course, there will be music! 🎶

🎟️ Tickets go on sale in January!
For now, mark your calendars and save the date. We can't wait to share more about this special night and the work your support will help make possible.
The Masks We Wear Masquerade Ball
Because behind every mask is a story.

💚 Language Matters. 💜

The words we choose can open a door — or close one. As Su***de Prevention Month ends, let's keep leading with compassion:

✨ "Died by su***de" not "committed su***de"
✨ "Survived an attempt" not "failed attempt"
✨ "Struggling" not "weak" or "crazy"

Kind words make it safer to speak up. Let's keep the conversation going all year long. 💙
Call or text 988 anytime for free, confidential support.

💙 September is Su***de Prevention Month 💙

This month — and every month — we stand together to spread awareness, offer support, and share hope. Because one conversation, one check-in, one moment of listening can truly make a difference. 🌅

Here's how we can all help:
🗣️ Talk — about your feelings openly
👂 Listen — without judgment
🤝 Support — each other and check in often
🌻 Choose — hope, today and always

At Elevate, we believe in rising, rebuilding, and recovering — together. If you or someone you love is struggling, please know that help is available and you are never alone. Call or text 988 anytime for free, confidential support. 💚
You matter. Your story matters. ✨

💙 World Su***de Prevention Day — September 10th 💙

Today, we join hearts and voices around the world in changing the narrative on su***de. Because every conversation matters. Every check-in counts. And every life is worth fighting for. 🌅

Changing the narrative starts with us — by speaking openly, listening with compassion, and replacing silence and stigma with understanding and hope. 🎗️

If you or someone you love is struggling, please remember: you are not alone, and help is available. Call or text 988 anytime for free, confidential support. 💚

Let's start the conversation — today and every day. ✨

The title is new. The mission is not.We are incredibly proud to celebrate our colleague, Jennifer Laughlin Stevenson, on her appointment to the City of Waterloo Human Rights Commission.

Jennifer has consistently shown what genuine service looks like—listening, advocating, creating opportunity, and standing up for the dignity of others. Her tireless work on behalf of our clients, the Noor community, and the greater Waterloo community has made a meaningful difference in countless lives.

This appointment is more than a professional honor. It is recognition of the character, compassion, and commitment Jennifer brings to everything she does.

Jennifer, thank you for serving with both strength and heart. This recognition is richly deserved—and Waterloo has chosen well.

Please join us in congratulating Jennifer on this remarkable achievement!

Someone to call — 988.
Someone to respond — Mobile Crisis Responders.

When you call 988, know that there may be more than a voice on the other end of the phone.

If you or someone you care about needs in-person support, be sure to ask about a Mobile Crisis Response in your area.

Mobile Crisis Responders can come to you, meet you where you are, help de-escalate the crisis, provide support, and help connect you with the next right resources.

Because sometimes people need someone to call.
And sometimes they need someone to show up.

988 — Someone to call.
Mobile Crisis — Someone to respond.

Please share. Someone may need to know this today. ❤️

Fewer crisis calls. More lives back on track. 💛

From a law enforcement perspective, Elevate ACT Team is making a real, measurable difference — giving officers a way to connect people to help, not just handcuffs.

One story of persistence, dedication, and never giving up says it all.

Community. Compassion. Connection.
