🏈 THIS is what football and community are all about! 🏈

Check out this amazing story featured on TMJ4 News! When 10-year-old Aiden expressed his love for Waterford football, our community and the Waterford Union High School freshman football team stepped up in a big way to welcome him as an honorary teammate. From receiving a signed football to sharing moments on the field, this is true sportsmanship in action.

We are so proud of these high school players—many of whom grew up right here in our youth program—for setting such an inspiring example of character, leadership, and community heart.

10-year-old Aiden Dahl loves football but cannot play tackle football because of his severe cognitive delays, according to his mother. But now, he's wearing No. 11 as an honorary member of Waterford JV 2 team.

We would like to thank everyone who came to our Dave Hanson Memorial Football Game Saturday! It was a great turn out!!

We had a lot of inquiries about if people could still order shirts, or get the pink ones our Chairs where wearing. So the online store is open again for a limited time only!

🌟 A SPECIAL NIGHT AT THE HIGH SCHOOL 🌟

Saturday was an especially meaningful night for our 7th and 8th grade players, who had the opportunity to play at Waterford Union High School as part of the Dave Hanson Memorial Game.

The evening was about more than football. Our players were there to play for Pam and to show their support for her and her family. It was a special opportunity for our youth players to come together as a program, represent Waterford, and be part of something bigger than the game.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our players and help make the night so special. We are proud of the way our Wolverines represented our program and our community.

And congratulations to our 8th Grade Green team on a great 17–14 victory over Johnsburg under the lights! 🏈
