A huge shoutout to Moonshine Hillclimb for welcoming the Pioneer Motorcycle Club crew with open arms. The event was an absolute blast and already looks like it’s going to grow into something legendary!

Six of our riders made the trip to tackle that beast of a hill: Les Wolfe, Jared Stark, Mike Folts, Owen Parrish, Greg Yates, and Issac Yates, and they all had a fun time climbing that monster hill.

If you missed it (or were at your camper taking a nap, though you probably heard it), the following footage features Justin Fowler, the pro rider who showed up to showcase his bikes and set the bar for the fastest time to beat. You might’ve even heard him if you lived within a few miles since that turbo-charged rocket isn’t exactly quiet!

If you missed this one, don’t make that mistake twice. Moonshine’s got action packed climbs from start to finish. We’ll be posting some of the footage on behalf of Moonshine Hillclimb (we’re just the friendly delivery service here). Some members were not able to stay the whole event and had to head out a little early, so we only got about 11 hours of video. Odds are your first run made the cut… at least up through the 86–400 class! Be patient, we will get that uploaded soon.

Huge thanks again to Moonshine for putting on such a killer event. Can’t wait to see what’s next... the future’s looking steep!

Thought the season was over? Not a chance. Our friends have been working hard to throw a hillclimb that’ll test your skills, your grit, and maybe your stomach for dirt. They’re basically family at this point, and we’ve got their back. Sign up, show up, and let’s make this one for the record books.

We’re gearing up for the Moonshine Hillclimb and it’s going to be one you don’t want to miss! 🔥 Here’s a look at classes so riders know exactly where they fit in.
Here’s a reminder of the event schedule:
📆 Friday, October 24th
Gates open at 3:00 PM for primitive camping (bring your own power source)
Pre-registration runs from 5:00 – 8:00 PM
📆 Saturday, October 25th
Gates open at 7:00 AM
Registration is open from 8:00 – 11:30 AM
Racing starts at 1:00 PM!
💲 Admission: $10 (kids 5 and under FREE)
🐕 All pets must be leashed
👉 Reminder: This is an AMA sanctioned event. You must be a registered AMA member to participate. (Membership link will be in the comments.)

What a weekend! Huge thanks to everyone who came out and made the State Championships one to remember. From the first rev to the last run, you all brought the energy that makes this sport so special. A massive shout-out as well to our sponsors for helping make it all possible, and we hope everyone enjoyed the free Red Bull boost along the way!

Now, onto the results: we’ve got the full class standings posted, plus the Verticross results. And of course, the fastest time of the night. But there was some miscommunication up in the tower, and the fastest time was mistakenly credited to the wrong rider. Pioneer Motorcycle Club sincerely apologizes for that mix-up, and we want to make sure the recognition goes where it truly belongs. The official fastest time of the night goes to Ayden Wilson!

Before we wrap up, we want to acknowledge that two riders had some pretty gnarly wrecks that required extra help from the EMTs. A huge thank you to the EMTs for being there when we need you most, your presence is invaluable. We never like to see those situations, and our thoughts are with the riders as they recover and back in 2026. We truly hope the injuries are minor. If you’re one of those riders (or close to them), please reach out to PMC with an update on your status, we care about every single rider who lines up on our hill.

Thanks again to all the riders, families, and fans who make this event possible. You’re the heart of it all.

Pre-registration for the 2025 Ohio AMA Hillclimb State Championships is now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us improve the sign-up process.

Please remember that all pre-registered riders will receive priority registration at the event, prior to the standard registration, allowing you to check in quickly and get on your way. All riders, along with a parent or guardian, must report to the clubhouse to complete registration and payment.

We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing everyone this weekend! If you plan to camp, please comment below so we can get an accurate headcount.

Pioneer Motorcycle Club is now officially sponsored by Nearstream, and upgrades are already rolling in.

First up is the new rider profile system. Upload your photo, set up your profile, and you’ll be part of the next big step forward for the club. Don’t be the one who misses out when things start changing fast.

We’re also test-driving a new pre-registration system for the Ohio State Championships. Here’s how it works:
• No money up front. You’ll pay on race day at PMC.
• Quicker signups that let you skip the paperwork headaches.
• Think of it as a paperwork holeshot—the fastest way to the fun part: racing.

If you’re planning to be there, pre-register now. Not sure yet? Sign up anyway. Your entry won’t be processed until you pay, so there’s no downside.

We’re on the hunt for a motor.... and not just any motor. Pioneer Motorcycle Club is looking for a donation of a 4-wheeler engine (250cc or bigger).
Chain drive?
Perfect. Reverse? Even better.
Electric start? Now you’re talking.

Only catch: it’s gotta run.

If you’ve got a wrecked quad sitting around, or one with a frame that’s more pretzel than machine, we’d be happy to give that engine a new purpose. We’ll be using it for some ground equipment at the club, so it’ll be put to good use (and not just left to rust behind the shed).

If you’re ready to free up some garage space and help out your local motorcycle club, let us know, we’ll gladly take it off your hands.
