Big shoutout to Loudoun Rugby alum Ty-Michael Arnold, who came up huge for Hampden-Sydney Rugby in their 19–15 preseason win over VCU.

With just six minutes remaining, Ty put in what a “Herculean effort” to force his way in for the go-ahead score and help secure the victory.

Always great to see Loudoun Rugby alumni making an impact at the next level.

The rugby community is built on strong bonds, shared experiences, and being there for one another in the most difficult moments.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family and loved ones of Cephas Nnamdi, along with his teammates, coaches, classmates, and the entire Roosters Youth Rugby Club community. The loss of such a promising young man is heartbreaking, and we are keeping everyone who knew and loved Cephas in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.

No rest for the weary.

Fresh off helping Loudoun Rugby capture a state championship and earning Man of the Match honors, Robert Kellen is getting ready to hop on a plane to Ireland to compete with Eagle Impact Rugby Academy this summer.

EIRA selections are made from players across the country, and earning a spot on an invitation-only international tour is a tremendous accomplishment.

Robert’s selection is a reflection of his hard work, dedication, leadership, and the support of a wonderful family that has been behind him every step of the way.

Opportunities like this do not happen by accident. They are earned through commitment, coachability, toughness, and a love for the game.

Congratulations, Robert. Loudoun Rugby could not be prouder of everything you have accomplished, and we cannot wait to follow your success abroad.

Starting early this morning, the pitches were lined, the boots were laced, and Summer 7s rugby came down to one final day. Who would be crowned the best in Virginia?

Well… Loudoun Rugby woke up dangerous.

A fantastic day of rugby ended with Loudoun bringing home plenty of hardware.

At Loudoun Rugby, we pride ourselves on teaching the game the right way—developing skills, promoting sportsmanship, building teammates, and strengthening the community that makes rugby so special. When you can do all of that and compete at the highest level, there’s nothing better.

Congratulations to every one of our athletes. Your hard work, commitment, and love for the game showed all season long.

A huge thank you to our coaches, board members, volunteers, and sponsors for everything you do behind the scenes to make this club successful.

And to our parents…thank you.

Thank you for the early mornings, the long drives, the full water bottles, the packed mouthguards, and everything else that happens between the whistle. And yes…thank you to the parents who occasionally have to sprint to the nearest sporting goods store because someone was so excited to play they left the house without their cleats. It happens.

Big Weekend ahead, come out and support the club!

Due to field conditions in Culpeper, this weekend’s RVA Summer Slam 7s State Championships have been moved to George Washington Middle School, Alexandria.

We apologize for the unavoidable late change and appreciate everyone’s understanding.

Please bring your own food and drinks. There will be no concessions available at the venue. There is, however, a 7-Eleven nearby, along with a couple of restaurants if you need to grab something during the day.

Thank you for your flexibility . We look forward to seeing everyone in Alexandria for a great day of rugby!
