Thank you to everyone who came to the mural ribbon cutting this evening! Phase 1 of the Mural is officially done and phase 2 will be ready mid-September. Thank you to Pastor Tori Heath, Mayor Cody Breon, and the Ashtabula Arts Council and lead artist, Ralph Bacon.

The mural has been a 2 year project that began from an original conversation between Susan Briggs Osborn, Tim Laflamme, Garry Sargent, and myself.

Our little spark would never have made it into existence without ECGRA, Waterford Boro Council, Melinda Myers, Patrick Fisher, the Girard Mural Team, all the artists who initially submitted proposals, the community of volunteers who showed up to paint, Stancliff Hose Company, the Bacon Family, the Waterford WECAN group, and many more not mentioned.

It takes a village! Thank you to all. Watch as the mural continues over the next couple of months on the West wall.

Another day filled with sun and artistry! The mural crew will be continuing the art installation today at the Boro/Library building in the ball diamond in beautiful Waterford.
