PURPOSE
The Purpose of VALOR is to inform, equip and call-to-action clergy, individuals and ministries in order to strengthen Biblical moral foundations worldwide. TENETS
VALOR believes that God has communicated ‘absolute truth’ to mankind through His Word and that all people are subject to the authority of God’s Word at all times. THEREFORE, VALOR believes that a culture based on Biblical truth
best serves the well-being of our families and our nation and that personal transformation, through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is the greatest agent of Biblical change in any culture. CALL TO ACTION
VALOR:
1. Restrains evil by exposing the works of darkness.
2. Promotes virtue by upholding that which is right, true and good, according to God’s Word.
3. Present (speak) Biblical truth, in love, allowing the Holy Spirit to bring conviction and enable change.
4. Convinces individuals of sin and challenges them to seek God’s infinite grace and forgiveness.
5. Encourages Christians to bear witness to the love of Jesus Christ as they live out their lives before the world.
6. Motivates people to take a stand on cultural and moral issues at the local, state, national and international levels. df
To that end, VALOR encourages peaceful activity directed toward:
A. Preservation of Marriage and the Family
B. Decency and Morality
C. Sanctity of Human Life
D. Media Integrity and Fairness, and
E. The ability to control oneself, in particular one’s emotion and desires, (or the expression of them in one’s behavior), especially in difficult situations
We believe in holding ministries, not-for-profit organizations and for-profit companies which sponsor programs attacking traditional family values accountable. We also believe in commending those that do. GOAL
VALOR’s goal is to be a champion of Christian activity and to bring Chris’s message of repentance and turning from sin to a dark and morally hurting world. VALOR’s warriors are expected to bring Christ’s message of forgiveness, grace, peace, light and hope to the world. VALOR will continue to ask the question of all people it comes in contact with:
“WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH CHRIST?”
and
“WHAT WILL CHRIST DO WITH YOU?”
