GMDC kicked off the summer season with a great turnout for handling practice. The big white tent isn't up yet on Farr's Field in Waterbury, but it was the perfect day for outdoor play. We'll be having handling practice on Tuesday nights at 6:30 to get geared up for the shows in July. Rally/ obedience practice will start in 2 weeks and watch for other fun classes and "try it" events through the summer!

Elizabeth remarks that "It's a great indoor training activity for cold weather!"

Scent work is a great activity for cold days like the ones we've been having. Being olfactory creatures, dogs love the opportunity to put their super sniffles to use!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: DOGSLED RACE!
Volunteers needed on January 31 & February 1 at Oxbow Park in Morrisville (On the Rail Trail).

We need help at the start/finish line (holding & guiding teams) and at road crossings to keep things running smoothly and safely.

No experience needed, they’ll teach you everything.
Plan to arrive around 8am, the race kicks off at 9 and goes until the last musher is in that afternoon. Stay for however long you can
