Thursday Night at the Rite - Tonight - February 12, 2026 at 8:00 PM

This degree explores the misuse of authority through the story of King Solomon’s tax collector, calling us to respond with compassion, courage, and loyalty to principle when public trust is violated.

The Scottish Rite, NMJ expands on the degrees of the Blue Lodge, offering the 4°-32°. Our Thursday Night at the Rite events rotate through these degrees with the exception of the 32°, which is reserved for special celebratory events and in-person Reunions. Each TNR degree presented is eligible for passport credit.
Great measures have been taken to bring a one-of-a-kind, cinematic experience to each presentation, traveling onsite to various Valleys to film the degrees live. These productions are far beyond a home video, capturing the unique attributes that each Valley's presentation offers.

The 6° - Master of the Brazen Serpent - will be portrayed live on Wednesday, February 18th at the Waterbury Masonic Temple located at 531 Highland Ave. in Waterbury, CT. The digital 4° will be available for any new candidates that evening.

Dinner will be served downstairs before the Degree at 6:30 PM. We are still asking for a $10 donation for the meals (no charge for a candidate's meal). RESERVATION IS REQUIRED FOR DINNER. Please RSVP before Monday, February 16th.
