Our young entrepreneurs were hard at work setting up their new business! Using recycled materials, creativity and their imaginations, our girls created their own food items, trays, a cash register, credit cards and machine, along with their own tip jar! Based on the response, these were some of the best snacks and service we've all seen! They had a blast and did such a great job!

Our cooking/baking club has just wrapped up their latest session, and it was a huge hit! From the epic cheese pull pizza roll ups, to a homemade rice/vegetable mix that topped cinnamon sugar baked chips, to our family dinner that featured antipasto skewers and chicken caesar salad, it was a big hit! And of course, desserts were a big part of the entire session and celebration, especially the brownies and blondies we shared with our families.

What a great session for all! A special thank you to Ms. Maria, Ms. Khadija, Miss Karin, Ms. Sue and all who have been sharing recipes with our club this session. A special shout out to Ms. Doreen and Miss Emily from LaFortuna Restaurant, who were our guest chefs, and helped to make our family celebration such a big hit!

Our gymnastics session was a bit hit! Our girls have done a fantastic job - learned new skills, perfected some of the skills they had and are now ready for the next level! We can't wait to kick things off again this fall with expanded sessions for all our girls at all skill levels!

Another big shout out and thank you to the wonderful student volunteers from The Taft School who continue to be such a big part of our clubs and programs! This amazing group was on hand to help us get things ready for our upcoming Camp Adventures! They have made sure everything is ready to go...and our girls will have a blast! It's Wednesday, a day where we get to celebrate all the people who have made our organization what it is today and who continue to support us and empower girls in our community!

Today a special shout out and thank you to all from The Taft School who continue to be such a big part of our clubs and programs! We recently welcomed representatives from the Taft Girl Up club who visited with a small group of our girls, sharing tips focused on self care and stress relief! Our girls enjoyed the afternoon, and fun activities!
