Main Street Waterbury works hand-in-hand with community partners to support a thriving downtown through local business support, events and promotions, cleaner and more welcoming public spaces, and the partnerships that make revitalization possible. This year’s honorees reflect the spirit of service, advocacy, and long-term commitment that continues to move Downtown Waterbury forward.

Community Partnership Award: Senator Joan Hartley
Recognized for her distinguished career in public service and her lasting impact on education, economic development, historic preservation, and the continued growth and vitality of downtown Waterbury.

Celebrate Connecticut Open House Day tomorrow, Saturday, June 13!

Beer and wine tastings. Incredible art exhibitions. Family fun experiences. Scenic boat and trolley rides. Behind-the-scenes tours. These are just a few of the activities Connecticut residents and families can enjoy during this statewide celebration.

More than 180 tourism attractions across Connecticut, including museums, arts and cultural venues, historical sites, farms, restaurants, and more, will welcome visitors with free or discounted admission and special offers.

Visit from 11 AM to 5 PM for free admission through Access for All, supported by Art Bridges.
