The Waterbury Patriots family would like to extend our deepest condolences to the 2025 13U team and the Bush-Copper family on the loss of a truly special woman, Debbie Bush-Copper.

Debbie was more than just a Patriots parent. She was a loving mother and grandmother who always showed up to support her boys and our organization. She believed in keeping her kids involved, active, and surrounded by positive influences, always doing whatever she could to make sure they were taken care of and headed in the right direction.

Anyone who knew Debbie knew she had a beautiful heart, a caring spirit, and a sense of humor that could brighten a room. She was the kind of person who supported not just her own family, but the entire Patriots community.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love and impact she had on her children, their teammates, and everyone around her will never be forgotten.

Please join us in keeping her family, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

This program is more than sports it’s about teamwork, discipline, leadership, and community.
