YoungLives Ministry was able to attend the Walnut Hill Community Church’s trunk or treat in Waterbury.

It was an amazing experience for me to be able to let the community know that this fantastic program for teen mothers is coming to Waterbury.

I was 14 when I had my daughter and YoungLives came and rescued me from the loneliness of teen parenthood, I found a group of ladies that I will forever cherish. My mentors loved me and encouraged me to succeed.

When funds were low and I needed diapers or formula for my baby and I was too prideful to ask anyone for help… They were there to offer it.

This program saved my life in so many ways.. and it means the absolute WORLD to me that they have entrusted me to carry on the mission to reach young mothers, encourage them, and invite them to have a relationship with Christ.
