April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and we are proud to support this important cause. As an organization, we are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for children everywhere.

On Friday 4/28, to show our support, we are inviting all staff members, families and children to participate in the We Wear Blue campaign. By wearing blue, we can spread awareness and show our collective commitment to this important cause.

We encourage you to take photos of yourself wearing blue and share them on social media with the hashtag . You can also share your photos with us, and we can repost them!

Bridge to Success is having a wonderful event at Silas Bronson Library for Sparkler! There will be a reading by author Chemay Morales-James, Sparkler Activities, free dinner and more. The first 20 registrants will receive a free copy of the book and a Sparkler Activity Box!

The recent infant formula shortage has created an extremely challenging situation for families who rely on formula to feed their children. We know that ramping up production will take time, and many Connecticut families are feeling the stress and pressure of this situation. Healthy Kids Day has celebrated kids’ mental and physical health, while teaching healthy habits for kids and families, encouraging active play and inspiring a lifetime love of physical activity.

On April 30, 2022 we will be hosting HDK here at the Greater Waterbury YMCA in the downtown Waterbury Green, featuring fun games and activities to keep kids moving and learning. Join us to create lifelong memories with the entire family!
