✨ It’s Official β€” The Chair Project Has Launched! πŸ’ˆπŸ’Ό

We’re thrilled to share that the Chair Project officially kicked off with our first cohort of 11 students, all eager to begin their journey into entrepreneurship, skill-building, and meaningful connection.

From learning the basics of barbering βœ‚οΈ to doing mock consultations for hair appointments, the room was full of energy, questions, and laughter. One student asked, β€œHow do you deal with a challenging customer?” β€” and the learning took off from there. πŸ’¬πŸ’‘

We have big plans ahead, and we can’t wait for the community event this April, where our youth will showcase everything, they’ve learned. πŸŽ‰
Stay tuned β€” the journey has just begun! πŸš€

🌟 Thank You to the Archdiocese of Hartford! 🌟

Waterbury PAL is deeply grateful to the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal and the Archdiocese of Hartford for their generous support through the Vicariate Outreach Program.

At the recent Annual Circle of Charity Dinner, Board Member, Lieutenant Ryan Bessette and Program Director Erica Soares proudly accepted a donation on behalf of PAL. This gift helps us continue our mission of serving over 4,000 youth annually through mentorship, sports, education, and community programs.

Your generosity strengthens our ability to provide safe spaces, opportunities, and positive experiences for young people in our community. πŸ’™πŸ’›
