The Transforming Systemic Inequality Grant supports work that tears down the barriers standing between Waterbury residents and real, long-term opportunity and success, with a focus on people who face several of those barriers at once: race, income, sexual orientation, immigration status, disability, and more.

The Leever Foundation’s Fall Grant: Transforming Systemic Inequality is now open.

This grant is designed to resource collaborative work that addresses structural and systemic barriers shaping opportunity and outcomes for Waterbury residents. For us, alignment is not only about what an organization does; it is also about how the work centers community voice, equity, and lasting change.

Prospective applicants begin with the Eligibility Quiz, which is available on a rolling basis until October 19th, and is required to potentially access the full application. Please allow up to two business days for an eligibility response. Applications are due Oct. 23, so beginning early gives applicants more time to move through the process thoughtfully.

We are also hosting a live Q&A on Sept. 16 to answer any questions prospective applicants and applicants may have about our Fall Grant Opportunity.
