MSAD 6 kiddos looking for a place to "play ball".. Bonny Eagle Little League is hosting 2 divisions- 13/14 Juniors and 15/16 Seniors. Those who are older than league age 16 CAN request a waiver to play. Please reach out to Mike Ames directly for more details!

Bonny Eagle Babe Ruth is currently seeking a new President and Board for the 2019 season. Chuck & I have stepped down as our boys have aged out and/or play school ball. I'm happy to guide a new group into a successful upcoming season. The new President will need to register the league ASAP. Sunday is a big deal for your Bonny Eagle Babe Ruth Team Keeley. The boys have made it to the semifinals and are going up against team RiRa for a spot at the state title championship.

Babe Ruth was resurrected in the Bonny Eagle area a few years back, and coach Chuck and coach Brian have worked the entire time with their legacy Team to get to this point. The first few years were rough, as young players coming out of Little League adjusted to bigger fields, faster pitching and groomed defense. With their passionate love for coaching and baseball, they retained 7 players of the original Team to today, 4 of which age out this year. The Team has gone from abysmal record seasons to the 9-6 season they have this year.

These boys THRIVE off support and a loud crowd behind them. They will dazzle you with skill and humor (like, they are HILARIOUS, you WILL laugh). We hope that you’ll join us this Sunday at 1pm at the Bonny Eagle Middle School field to cheer them on. Admission is free, come help us make a memory they will hold in their hearts for the rest of their lives. They’ve earned it & are SO worth it. Love you boys... ❤️

Babe Ruth family- a few house keeping items :)

1. We will be assembling the new benches at the Hollis field this Wednesday starting around 6 pm. We could use a couple volunteers to help bring the packages from rec, disassemble the old benches, moving them to the barn, and then assembling/ installing the new benches.

2. Schedules are now loaded into TeamSnap. If you can't see the schedules or aren't receiving alerts/ messages through the app, please contact Jen right away so we can get everyone in the loop: [email protected]

3. We are actively seeking volunteers to run the 13-15 year old Babe Ruth league next season. Chuck & Jen will be stepping down out of the President & VP roles, and we welcome you to step up. Training will be easier for these roles if we get the transition started sooner rather than later, so please get in touch with Chuck or Jen ASAP for more details.

A huge thank you to all who attended, donated and made the fundraiser a success yesterday. We didn’t hit our goal, but everyone had a great time and we made a little bit more towards our uniforms.

Hey! Hey yo! BE Babe Ruth Community.. when we said we needed coaches, we weren’t kidding. We need em and need em now. We have ONE head coach and TWO assistant coaches. We need 2 more heads and many many more assistants. Let’s not let the program fail because of lack of volunteers for these boys. Need training? No problem, we got you. Not sure on all aspects of the game? That’s what we’re here for.
