🟡 Mardi Gras Sweetheart Ball 5:30-8:00 pm
🟢 Gumbo Cookoff 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Let’s make this parade the best one yet! 🎭💜💛💚 We’re recruiting Krewes and groups for the Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday, February 14, 2026. If your school, team, club, church, or friend group wants to join in, we would LOVE to have you. Walkers, marching groups, dance teams, and golf carts/UTVs are all welcome! just send Cinnamon Foster a message and we will get you signed up!
PARADE:
📿Line up on the west side of Main Street to catch throws (candy, beads, novelties) for the 4th Annual Water Valley Mardi Gras Parade at 4:30 PM with a 5:00 PM step-off at the Episcopal Church. The parade will be traveling south on Main Street, turning east at Blackmur drive then will run back north on Railroad Street ending at Lamar Block (310 Railroad St, Water Valley, MS).
➡️The streets WILL NOT be blocked off, and the parade will have a police es**rt in slow moving traffic. ***All parade goers are asked to line the west side of Main Street to catch throws. ***
SWEETHEART BALL:
💜💛💚Immediately after the parade, we will keep the celebration going at the Mardi Gras Sweetheart Ball with music and dancing and photo selfie booth from 5:30 - 8:00 PM with free entry hosted by Meagan Backes and Lamar Block.
GUMBO COOK-OFF:
🥘We will also be hosting a Mardi Gras Gumbo Cook-Off (free entry!) with cash prizes awarded by Tasters’ Choice: 1st Place $100, 2nd Place $75, and 3rd Place $25. Contact Cinnamon Foster to enter!
