For anyone that is interested in volunteering assistance for 2023 Art Crawl or being a part of the future Arts Council, I (Sierra Dexter) and Jaime Harker are hosting a preliminary/planning meeting tonight at 6:00pm. Any and all are welcome!

Please join us at the WV Main Street Office - 207 Main Street - at 6:00pm. Our meeting will take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. We’ll chat about what we need help with and our goal for the future of the Arts Council after Art Crawl has passed. 😊

Hi all! This is Sierra Dexter - Arts Council Chairman and local business owner of The Valley Imagery & Productions ! I’m one of the Water Valley Main Street Association board members (that is hoping to revive our town’s arts council). I, along with Jaime Harker - owner of Violet Valley Bookstore, are planning this year’s Arts Crawl! 🥳

We wanted to give a little bit of preliminary information as we plan, in hopes to have as much participation as possible! This year’s Art Crawl will take place on Saturday, October 14th, 2023. We are planning to have a wide array of artists showcasing their work at local homes, studios, and business store fronts. Everything will be walkable - on or near Main Street - as in year’s past.

Currently, we are still gathering artists, hosts, and volunteers. This post is meant to serve as a base information post, but also as an OPEN CALL to any artists, business owners, or near Main Street home owners that may want to be involved. If you are interested in learning more about being involved, please fill out our survey through this link.

Bozarts Gallery will be hosting an Artist Reception for Thomas Grosskopf today from 6-8pm. Masks are required to enter the gallery, and refreshments will be served outside. Come on out! 😁

Jamie & Linda Scott will be opening their Dancing Bear Sanctuary & Sculpture Park up to the public from Saturday, Nov. 6th at noon to Sunday, Nov. 7th at dusk.

We hear there is going to be a surprise from 4-6pm on Saturday 🙈 Come on out!
