Donate deer to fill the freezers of those in need.

Here is how:

Start by harvesting an extra deer.
Gut the deer.
Deliver the deer to 15030 State Route 45 South, Water Valley, KY, at the education building at Walking Humbly Outdoor Adventures (the red building).
Index cards, pens, and Ziploc bags are inside the outdoor walk-in cooler. Fill outside the carcass information (name, confirmation number, phone number, and the county where it was harvested).
Once it is tagged, pull it into the cooler and leave it.
Please text 270-970-4107 when you leave one.

If you are in need of deer meat, please watch for posted days when we will be handing it out.
You may request a whole deer if you would like to butcher it yourself.

If you want to help, we always need gloves, 2-gallon Ziploc bags, rags, paper towels, trash bags, milk crates, soap, bleach, a heavy-duty hot water hose, push brooms, hanging gambrels, bus tubs for grinding meat, and large plastic tubs or buckets to catch remains.

Here are other things we offer---
We allow folks to clean deer if they need a place.
We will help you dispose of a deer carcass properly as we have a area meant for that and set to the legal standards for burying them.

If you love metal detecting then share it our annual event will be happening may 30th!!!!!!

Hey everyone, we are excited to announce our youth metal detecting event scheduled for May 30th this year! Please use the link below to access the registration form for this event and email the form to [email protected] before May 20th.

We only have 25 spots for new registrants and 25 spots for individuals who have participated in the past, so please get your registration form in ASAP. If you have attended this event in the past and are wanting to attend again, we ask that you please bring the metal detector you were provided with the previous time. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty as this event will take place outside where digging will be involved.

After the event has ended, we will be opening our youth pond for anyone who would like to stay and fish, so please bring a fishing pole if you have one!
