Whitley PTA The purpose of the Whitley PTA Page is to provide an online community for parents and families at Whitley Road Elementary School. Children can see our page.

Our goal is to share information and tips, update the community on events and programs, and showcase the achievements of students, teachers, parents, and other community members. Community Rules:

We encourage you to ask questions and share information. We ask that you keep discussions focused directly concerning our school community. We encourage posts that highlight our community’s accomplishmen

ts and constructively raise issues for discussion. When posting, please use appropriate language. If you choose, you can post photos of your children at school events. Do not post photos of other children. If you have any questions about posting a particular photo, please check with the page administrators. Do not post about concerns, problems, or conflicts with individual teachers, administrators, students, or parents. We will immediately delete posts that in any way put down or discriminate against individuals. Online threats will be taken seriously, and proper authorities will be immediately notified. Do not post information commonly understood as confidential, such as student grades. Any inflammatory statements that make allegations against individuals or organizations will be deleted. Keep in mind what you post is public information. Do not publish content as your own that has been created by others.

🐾📚 Missing Tegan this summer? We’ve got good news! 📚🐾

If your child is already missing seeing Tegan, Whitley Road Elementary’s beloved therapy dog, they can visit him this summer at the Watauga Public Library!

Tegan and Mrs. Ratcliff will be helping young readers build confidence and a love of books every Thursday at 1:00 PM during June and July. Children can read aloud to Tegan in a fun, encouraging, and judgment-free environment.

Our teachers, staff, and administrators pour so much love, time, and heart into our students every single day at Whitley Road Elementary. 💚

Keller ISD has an “Improve KISD” form where families and community members can share feedback, ideas, concerns, or positive experiences directly with district leadership. We would love to encourage our Whitley families to take a moment to share the GOOD too, the teachers who’ve impacted your child, the staff members who make your family feel seen, the moments that made a difference, or the ways our campus has supported your student this year.

🍋🧁🍪 One last birthday celebration for our Whitley Road summer babies… and PTA went OUT with a sugar-filled bang! ☀️🎉

Key lime pie, mini cheesecake bites, gourmet cupcakes, frosted brownies, and a double stuffed cookie cake that absolutely disappeared 😆💕

We wanted to end the year celebrating our amazing staff members with something extra sweet because they deserve every bit of it and more. Thank you for pouring your hearts into our students all year long. We hope you feel loved, celebrated, and spoiled today! 🥹💛

Today absolutely blew us away. 😭🍝💛

A MASSIVE thank you to DeVivo’s Eatery for treating the entire Whitley Road Elementary staff to the most incredible Teacher Appreciation lunch!!!

When I say they went ABOVE and BEYOND… I mean HUGE trays of pasta, fresh salads, garlic knots, desserts for days, and so much love poured into every single detail. It honestly looked like a full-on feast. 🥹✨

This wasn’t just a donation of food. It was generosity. It was kindness. It was a local family-owned business showing our teachers and staff that they are seen, valued, and appreciated after all they pour into our students every single day.

Our teachers work so hard, and seeing them smile, sit together, laugh, eat good food, and feel celebrated today meant more than words can say. 💛

From the bottom of our hearts — THANK YOU, DeVivo’s. Your support and generosity made today incredibly special for our Whitley family. We are so grateful for businesses like yours that love on our schools and community so BIG. 🫶☀️🍝

The parents of Whitley Road Elementary absolutely SHOWED UP for our staff!!! 💛☀️

Our “Fill the Fridge” event turned into completely stocking the entire teacher lounge and workroom with drinks, snacks, treats, popcorn, chips, trail mix, cookies, crackers, candy, breakfast goodies, and SO much more! We were honestly blown away by the generosity.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to every family that donated, dropped items off in carline, shared the post, or helped make this happen. Our teachers and staff work so incredibly hard every single day loving on our students, and today they felt so loved in return. 🥹

Whitley Road families truly go above and beyond, and this was such a beautiful reminder of what an amazing community we have. You all spoiled our staff BIG time this Teacher Appreciation Week! 🍎✨

✨ Happy School Nurse Appreciation Day to our incredible Nurse Mackenzie! ✨

We are beyond blessed to have such a kind, thoughtful, caring, and empathetic nurse taking care of our students each and every day. Nurse Mackenzie has the sweetest heart and a way of making every child feel safe, loved, and cared for. Whether it’s a scraped knee, worried tears, or just needing a little comfort, she always meets our students with patience and compassion. 💙

Married to her high school sweetheart, mama to sweet little Parker, and dog mom to her black lab Boomer, Nurse Mackenzie says her favorite thing about being a school nurse is “seeing tears turn into smiles” and honestly, that describes her perfectly. 🩺✨

Outside of school, she loves spending time with her family and chasing her energetic 2-year-old around, but somehow she still pours so much love and energy into our campus every single day.

Thank you, Nurse Mackenzie, for all the bandaids, hugs, ice packs, encouragement, kindness, and love you give so freely. We appreciate you more than words can say and are SO lucky you are part of our school family! 💕

A HUGE thank you to Acquario Italian Seafood for absolutely blessing our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week!!! 💙🍝☀️

They generously DONATED lunch for our entire staff, and it was incredible. From the delicious pasta and crisp caesar salad and thoughtful kindness behind it all… our teachers and staff felt so loved and appreciated today. 🥹

It means so much to our school community when local businesses step in to support the people who pour into our kids every single day. Teachers work tirelessly, often behind the scenes, and gestures like this truly make them feel seen and valued.

☀️🌴 What a SUNSATIONAL morning for our teachers!! 🌴☀️

We kicked off the day with all the goodies, Starbucks coffee, every creamer you could dream of ☕️, fresh fruit 🍓🍍, Shipley’s donuts 🍩, and breakfast pastries to start their day right!

The lounge was decked out for some sunshine-filled fun, and we added a little extra love with leis and Bath & Body Works hand sanitizers 🌺✨

Seeing our amazing teachers smile, laugh, and feel appreciated is what it’s all about. They pour so much into our kids every single day, and we just wanted to pour a little back into them 💛
