Marshall Lodge #22 AF & AM Marshall Lodge No. 22 meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM. The original document is still in the possession of the Lodge.

Marshall Lodge No. 22 meets on the second Tuesday of every month to conduct our regular business meeting called a "Stated Communication" or "Stated Meeting" beginning at 7:00 o'clock PM. Our meetings are open to Masons who are members of any Lodge that is recognized by the Grand Lodge of Texas. On December 27, 1844, twenty Master Masons in the Marshall area met together and petitioned the Grand Lo

dge of the Republic of Texas for a Warrant that they might begin work as a Lodge in Marshall. The Warrant was granted at the 1844 Grand Communication and was issued at the town of Washington-on-the-Brazos, Texas on January 18, 1845. Today, Marshall Lodge and its members actively support charities such as the Texas Masonic Retirement Center, Shriners Hospitals for Children, Scottish Rite Children's Hospitals, and the Knights Templar Eye Foundation. Our Scholarship Fund provides annual scholarships to local high school graduates who are college bound.

Bro. Jack Knight has laid down his working tools. Bro. Knight was 60+ year member and a Past Master of Marshall Lodge #22.
A Masonic graveside service for Bro. Knight will be delivered at Tatum Cemetery Friday morning following the funeral.

Bro. Knight and his family have requested that Masons serve as his pallbearers. If you are available to be at Downs Funeral Home at 9:30am on Friday, Dec 19, please let us know by email to [email protected], so we can arrange to honor our brother's request.

A funeral service for Jack T. Knight, 89, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 1000 a.m., Friday, December 19, 2025, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Tatum Cemetery in Tatum, Texas. Mr. Knight passed away on December 14, 2025, in Marshall, Texas.
