Mail Box Issues? We have had to shut down Mile 8 Mail because the USPS restricted our potential customers to about half of Settlers Bay. With that we would have lost half of our 90 or so customers for our 585 boxes. I have gotten a phone call from one very disappointed customer of Mile 8 that cannot get mail right now because the USPS tells her she most have her box on the Settlers Bay Center at the top of the hill. I have given her permission to place a box up there until we can get the USPS to allow us to put up cluster boxes there. The USPS is required to deliver the mail to everyone! If you would like to help please let your representatives know of this situation. I would be happy to open the Mile 8 Mail if we were allowed to issue PO box numbers so we could have them in an order by those who sign up or if everyone in settlers bay wanted to have a location at the top of the hill and we could get at least 300 customers from Settlers Bay I would install the boxes outside and could sell them for approximately $200 each. That's mail forever for as little $200! That was the original plan until we received feedback that outside boxes were too unsafe. Camera's could be installed around the boxes to make them safer at some additional cost the HOA could pay for that as a service to the community? Your thoughts are appreciated I'm trying to HELP!

For those who had a mailbox at M8Mailboxes, if you had mail left in the box it will be held at the Main st Post office in Wasilla for pick up.

You can put your Mile 8 Utilities payment in the drop box located at 5715 S. Settlers Bay Dr. in front of Suite D. (Where the old Post Office used to be).
