Our Family Promise affiliates are collectively raising funds across the nation for their communities! The link above will direct you to a website designed for Family Promise Mat-Su in Wasilla, AK. Our goal is to raise money to prevent homelessness by helping with rent and utility bills. Keeping families housed prevents children from experiencing the insecurities of shelters, living in a vehicle, or struggling on the streets of our communities. The Help Us Move In (HUMI) Grant is the grant that helped us launch a new rent/utility assistance program fully funded by donations from our community to help prevent homelessness. Since November 2019 we have helped 164 children in 74 families with an average cost of $327 per child. THANK YOU for helping us give HOPE during times of housing uncertainties to so many community members! In light of this HOPE, we are changing the name of our assistance program to HOPE 4 Housing. The funds will continue to focus on families with children under the age of 18. Thank you in advance for your continued support.
