We sure do appreciate board members who don’t mind getting dirty, of course it also helps when they are expert sawyers too!
Many thanks to our own Sean Callaghan for removing a number of downed trees from the Cape Horn Trail this week. Last month’s wind storm was a real doosey, and has impacted many trails throughout the Gorge. Fortunately, for all of us, Cape Horn Trail is still very hikeable.
Remember, a portion of the trail closes February 1st through July 15th to protect peregrine falcon nesting, so there is no time like the present to hike the full 7.2 mile loop!
