Tonight the boys chose to do community service and cleaned up around the Washingtonville Middle School. They were a bit cold but they did great! Well done organizing the boys Killer Geese patrol and Patrol Leader Logan!

It was an honor to take part, along with other community groups, in the Wreaths Across America ceremony at Washingtonville Cemetery. Kudos to everyone supporting this effort ensuring veterans no longer with us are remembered during the holiday season.

Troop 416 served at Thunderbird Games this weekend, manning two of 60+ stations for the 2700 Cub scouts that visited. Our boys managed two bouncy houses, ensuring a safe and fun time for all!

This weekend our Scouts will be making breakfast in the woods and then hanging out with 2000+ of their friends at the Thunderbird games; next month we're camping in the Catskills after volunteering at the food bank, and in December we're going to Wreaths Across America and volunteering at Operation Toy Train. Logan K led us on a hike through Fort Montgomery today, down to Popolopen Creek and then up through the Bear Mountain Trailside Museum, zoo, and finally a lap of Hessian Lake - all before lunch! It was a great start to the day!

Start a new adventure! Troop 416 is looking for boys aged 11-17 to join in our adventures. Hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, cooking, and a little bit of leadership and service thrown in. Oh, and High Adventure trips too!
