IAGenWeb would love the opportunity to welcome you as a new county coordinator! We have 18 counties and a special project that are impatiently waiting for a new coordinator. You will have the help you need to get started.

It's not often that we have a special project up for adoption, Iowa in the Great War. This is an excellent project for anyone who is into military history. To learn more about the project, go to:
https://iagenweb.org/greatwar/

Take a look at these counties and chose one you would like to adopt. Then contact the Welcome Hostess at [email protected]. (copy and paste the email address into an email)

Hope to hear from you soon!

Iowa Native American Program
Meeting & Luncheon
November 8, 10:00 AM
Marr Park, 2943 Hwy 92

Please join us on Saturday morning, November 8 for a brief business meeting, a Native American program by Archaeologist, Michael Perry, followed by a luncheon and then tour of the Conger House Museum Native American Artifacts Room. Michael Perry spent 36 years on the staff of the Office of the State Archaeologist. In 2015, Mr. Perry lead the research team that identified, organized and cataloged all the native artifacts in the Conger House Museum’s collection. The now renovated Native American Room chronologically tells the story of our early residents, starting with the museum’s oldest artifact, an 11,000 year-old projectile point.

Luncheon reservations ($20.00) are due November 1. Please make checks payable to the Washington County Historical Society
