We are committed to spreading awareness of the importance of spaying and neutering pets through low cost clinics throughout our community. Together we can stop unwanted litters, and work to keep community cats safe. We are able to do this through the generous donations from our friends and business’s in our area. Ask us how your donations can help sponsor a community cat…

We are a tax deductible charity. Paws and Love began because of the need to provide a safe permanent home to a group of community cats in NC. We take in at risk cats and have them spayed/neutered, combo tested for FIV and FeLV, and vaccinated. They are then released into a safe environment where they are provided with quality food, medical care, shelter, and lots of love. Others have had limited or no human contact and they prefer to live a "feral" life, which is perfectly fine with us. Regardless of their background, all cats are given the love and attention they desire and deserve.

Charlotte update!!

Charlotte had a pretty long procedure yesterday. They ended up removing the 9 remaining teeth she had.
She’s in her private recovery room. While in here, we will be able to control her pain and make sure she has plenty of soft food to eat while her mouth heals.
Thank you all for donating!!
Her final total was $557. Currently we have raised $231 through Facebook and have a matching offer for the next $100.
Link to that donation post will be in the comments.

Hey Friends !!
Fundraising post for kitty dental !!

One of our dear sanctuary kitties, Charlotte, was showing signs of a sore mouth in August. We made an appointment to get her seen right away. It seems that her teeth were causing discomfort and also a small infection. She was given an antibiotic as well as a steroid for immediate relief but we were told she would be needing a dental with some extractions as soon as possible. The first available was November 12. Tuesday afternoon Pamlico Animal Hospital called and they had a cancellation and asked if would we like to get her dental TODAY. Of course we would!!
Charlotte is already at the vet and will be going in for her dental procedure soon where they will be addressing all of the concerns. If you've ever had to have a dental done for an animal, you know that they don't always know what they are going to find until they are under sedation.
The low estimate is just at $600-this does NOT include pre-surgery blood work or x-rays and if there are no complicated extractions. The higher estimate is $1050 and this includes the labs and xrays and a little in case there is a stubborn tooth.
Can you please help us raise the funds to cover her surgery?
Any amount will greatly help.

Charlotte is currently sponsored by Laura Sollers through our fund a feral program.

When there's a job to be done, you get it done! 💪

We were SO IMPRESSED last week when we were dropping cats off at the vet for their spays/neuters and met a gentleman who was doing the same because he was determined to be part of the solution!

He knew what would happen if the kittens grew up without being fixed, so he took it upon himself to do something about it and crafted this crate to transport them!

Thanks to the low-cost spay/neuter vouchers provided by the Humane Society of Beaufort County, NC, he was able to get this group fixed!!

When there's a will, there's a way! Be part of the solution - spay/neuter today! 😸

Hi friends,

Since 2015, Paws and Love has been dedicated to improving the lives of community cats in Beaufort County. Through the years, we've helped facilitate the spay/neuter of more than 2,700 cats and have rescued and cared for over 600 cats in need.

Today, our work continues through the lifelong care of the cats who call our sanctuary home and by supporting community members with education, guidance, and TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) initiatives.

We're currently holding our raffle fundraiser to help support these important programs, and we're looking for opportunities to share it with more people in our community. If you know of any local businesses, community events, festivals, markets, or other venues that may be willing to allow us to set up a table and promote the raffle, we would be incredibly grateful for any introductions or recommendations.

Every raffle ticket helps provide food, medical care, and daily support for the cats in our sanctuary while supporting our community cat initiatives.

If you think of any opportunities for us to share our raffle fundraiser, please let us know. And if you're interested in helping us sell raffle tickets, we'd love to hear from you too!

Thank you for your continued support of Paws and Love. Together, we're making a lasting difference for cats throughout our community. ❤️🐾

🙀 Look at all of these wonderful goodies that were donated for the kitties in our new food bins stationed at Pamlico Animal Hospital and Chocowinity Pet Resort and Day Camp!

We're so grateful for every single donation that we receive. Not only do these donations cover the basic needs of our sanctuary cats, but they also help with our TNVR program as we use wet food for trapping and we also provide some food assistance to caretakers who need a little extra boost to care for the colonies that have been through the program. 😸

Thank you to everyone who supports us! 🐾
