STUDENTS AND ADULTS we would love to pray with you this weekend-for our community, for our students, for our churches, and so much more!

It’s been a heavy few weeks (years, if we’re honest) and it’s easy to forget, we’re not in it alone. So join us for a time where we can come together to be reminded that we’re in it together, with different callings and gifts, with God going before us!

Day 4-6

We hiked, zip lined, laughed, cried, and ate lots of snacks

We continued to hear about Peter’s relationship to Jesus. How he fell short and Jesus still continued to show up and invite him into a life so much better!

We talked about the love of a Heavenly Father and what scripture tells us that looks like. The last two nights students had 15 minutes of quiet to sit, reflect, and talk to God about life and all the questions that come with it.

There’s so much more to share, but for now continue praying for our students as they finish up our last day and make the ride back tomorrow!

Day #3

We love camp for so many reasons but one of the best, is the joy we get to witness. As a leader it’s easy to forget, sure we’re having fun, but walls are coming down with every activity we do. We connect with each other (even when it feels like we wouldn’t have anything in common), build trust with one another, and get to see how it all points back to Jesus in our cabin times as we reflect on our days and the talks!

*night 3 we talked about the bleeding woman. We talked about how we all have wounds in our life-some big, some small. We can try everything to fix our own problems, but on our own, we’ll keep coming up short (at best we end up with short term solutions).

A little day 1 + 2 fun

*last night we talked about how we use social media to learn about people but it doesn’t give us a full picture. Our speaker used the comparison to illustrate how sometimes we also take bits and pieces of what we know about God to form our opinions. Tonight he talked about how even Peter had his perceptions of what he thought/assumed Jesus would be like, but in reality he only knew part of his character.

Pray we get some good rest and take on day 3 like champs!
