Washington Civil War Round Table Studies history of the Civil War Meets every fourth Monday of the month except December. It draws history buffs from all over Georgia and neighboring states.

The Washington Civil War Round Table is unique in its location in the antebellum town of Washington, Georgia. Washington is one of the several towns that Sherman did not burn on his March to the Sea in 1865, so it continues to suggest a bygone era. With Washington as a backdrop, the Roundtable focuses on speakers who are often world class writers, historians and collectors of the Civil War period. Monthly meetings take place in the Washington Women’s Club..
