🛠️💙 Three cheers for Kenny! 💛🐾

On National Custodian’s Day, we’re celebrating someone who makes a difference at KSDS every single day—Kenny!

As our maintenance person and custodian, Kenny helps keep our campus clean, safe, and ready for the people and dogs who count on us. He goes above and beyond anything asked of him, tackling projects big and small with care and dedication.

At KSDS, we believe independence changes everything—and Kenny’s work helps make those life-changing assistance dog partnerships possible. His contributions reach far beyond a repair or a freshly cleaned space.

Kenny, thank you for your hard work, your willingness to lend a hand, and the pride you take in caring for KSDS. We appreciate you more than words can say! 👏

Help us celebrate Kenny by leaving a thank-you in the comments! ⬇️💙

🐾 Meet Our Newest KSDS Teams — Day Two! 💙💛

Yesterday, we introduced you to our newest guide dog teams. Today, we're excited to introduce two more incredible partnerships - Jason & Cozumel and Joseph & Tahiti!

🐾 Jason Regier & Cozumel
Jason, of Littleton, Colorado, is a three-time Paralympian and three-time Paralympic medalist with Team USA in wheelchair rugby. A longtime KSDS client, Jason is beginning a new chapter with successor service dog Cozumel by his side.

🐾 Joseph Hamil & Tahiti
Joseph is a counselor at Virginia Highlands Community College in Virginia, where Tahiti will work alongside him as a facility dog. Together, they'll help create an environment where students can feel more comfortable, supported, and connected.

Their roles may be different, but both partnerships demonstrate the many ways an expertly trained assistance dog can make a difference by supporting independence for one person or helping a professional better serve an entire community.

Please join us in congratulating Jason & Cozumel and Joseph & Tahiti as they begin their journey together! 🎉🐾

Different jobs. Same purpose. Life-changing partnerships. 💙💛

🐾 Meet Our Newest KSDS Teams — Day One! 💙💛

This weekend, we're celebrating four new partnerships and the incredible journeys that brought them together!

Today, meet our two newest guide dog teams - Bret & Kiribati and Mary Ann & Doc. 🦮

Both Bret and Mary Ann are returning KSDS clients who have been partnered with successor guide dogs. While each partnership is unique, both represent something at the very heart of KSDS: independence, confidence, companionship, and trust.

And these partnerships didn't happen overnight. Behind Kiribati and Doc are puppy raisers, trainers, volunteers, donors, staff, and supporters who helped prepare them every step of the way. 💙

Please join us in congratulating Bret & Kiribati and Mary Ann & Doc as they begin this next chapter together! 🎉🐾

Independence changes everything.
