Congratulations to everyone involved in making this program such a success! 🌱🎉

Recently, the Virginia School Boards Association released the 30th edition of the VSBA Showcases for Success directory, highlighting 62 outstanding programs and initiatives from school divisions across the Commonwealth. In conjunction with the directory, the VSBA also published a Special Edition Newsletter featuring just 12 of these programs, representing each region of Virginia.

We are proud and honored to share that Rappahannock County Public Schools' Farm-to-Table and Active Learning in Outdoor Spaces (ALIOS) initiative was selected as one of the 12 featured showcases! This recognition highlights the incredible work of our students, staff, and community partners in creating hands-on learning experiences that offer additional movement opportunities, enhance nutrition awareness, and foster engaging garden-based education.

SPARK Camp kicked off on Monday, and we’re officially off to a fantastically fun summer! 🌞

Campers enjoyed the beautiful weather with outdoor games, tie-dyeing their camp shirts, playing on the playground, creating team flags, and enjoying delicious snacks and food throughout the day.

We can’t wait for all the adventures, laughter, and memories still to come. Here's to an amazing summer ahead! ☀️💙 💛💙 💛

What an amazing celebration of our ASEP kiddos and all their hard work this session! 🌟💙

From the energetic BOOM Fitness & BOOM KIDZ Studio-Culpeper Line Dancing performance 💃 to the Drama Club’s debut of “Supervillains Anonymous” 🎭, our students truly shined! Families also enjoyed delicious ice cream sundaes 🍨 served by our sports/fitness club students and special handmade gifts 🎨 created by our arts & crafts kiddos. We are so proud of all the creativity, teamwork, and talent on display! 👏✨

Hope you all have a restful, fun filled summer and we can’t wait to see you back in the fall!

For those who have not had the pleasure of visiting the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden and the Smithsonian American Art Museum, they may conjure images of grand marble and bronze statues, stately portraits and traditional historical scenes.
