Yesterday, the Franklin County Service Providers took some time to wish our Chairman, Donald Simpson, well and bid him farewell. Donald has taken a position outside the county. We will miss him. Vice-Chair, Cara Smith, will assume the roll of Chair for the rest of the year. Good Luck Donald in all your endeavors and thank you for your service to the Franklin County community.

The 2023 Armin and Norma Klemme Member of the Year award goes to … Cara Smith! We had a fantastic time surprising Cara today with the announcement and celebrating her along with most of her family and some of her co-workers.

A big thank you to the committee who put today’s celebration together.

Congrats to Cara on this most deserved recognition.

A well deserved honor to one of the most amazing women in our community!

Mrs. Norma Klemme is Eden's recipient for an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters. The degree will be conferred on May 19th at the 173rd Commencement Ceremony.
Norma is a member of Zion UCC in Union Missouri and is married to Eden alum, Armin Klemme. She has a regional UCC connection, and tirelessly pushes forward the goal of social transformation. Norma is a lay person with a passion for working in the area of food insecurity. She is active in the annual Crop Walk and has found creative ways to support that endeavor. She is trusted, well respected and known for her commitment to serving the church and those in need.

Today we celebrated 30 years of Franklin County Service Providers being an organization! We also pulled off a huge surprise as we presented Julie Woodcock Hook with the Armin and Norma Klemme Member of the Year Award. Thank you to everyone for helping us celebrate our organizations milestone and helping us honor a most deserving individual!
