Legion Post 15 Monthly Meeting Monday (Tomorrow) 17 August; 18:00 Hrs / 06:00 pm; First Church of Christ, 520 E 10th St.

Judy Jennette, former Mayor of Washington, will give a presentation on the history of Veteran's Park. This will help us in our plans to create a new memorial to post additional Veteran names of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice during later conflicts.

Today is National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day, marking the anniversary of the 1953 agreement that ended active combat. It honors the millions who served and the tens of thousands who died in the conflict.

Just to bring Post 15 up to Date..

Post 15 Jr Legion Team
Won their first game in the State Tournament
In Cherryville Saturday.

We played the #1 Seed in Area 2.
Wilson was playing # 2 Seed in Area 2.
A great start today in the State Tournament!!!
