Meet Anita. ❤️

Across the Intermountain Division, hope takes many forms. Sometimes, it looks like having someone in your corner when you need it most.

For Anita, The Salvation Army provided support during a difficult chapter and helped her find a path forward.

Today, she’s sharing what that support meant to her, in her own words.

Before Jimmy Stewart became George Bailey in 'It’s a Wonderful Life', and long after the film became a classic, his story included a meaningful connection to The Salvation Army.

Stewart served as The Salvation Army’s National Christmas Chairman during the 1983 Christmas Campaign. Now, that connection is part of his story on the big screen. In Jimmy Movie, Stewart is portrayed as Santa, delivering gifts to children at a Salvation Army orphanage, with the Red Shield featured in the scene.

The biopic arrives this November, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’.
